2014 Annual Diocesan Appeal:

Our Faith Alive in Love

We hope you will give prayerful consideration to this request.

The Appeal not only provides an opportunity for you to support important ministries that impact many programs outside of our parish boundaries, it also supports the services the Diocese provides directly to our parish. This year, the funds returned to our parish will be used to  support the presence of our 2nd full time priest, Fr. Denis Jacinto Masin, and his invaluable work with our Hispanic parishioners.

All pledges can be paid in ten monthly installments which makes it easy to support the important ministries of our Diocesan Church while also supporting our parish needs.  Thank you in advance for your partnership in the 2014 Appeal.

Check out the "In the Neighborhood" page for events happening in our neighborhood.

Budget for 2013-14

Please use the pastoral/prayer cards to communicate to staff requests for prayer lists and other details for pastoral care. The cards may be obtained in the Parish Information Center and in the Hospitality/Ushers' Room.

Remember the members of our parish who are not well - Send a card to someone you know and perhaps to someone you don't know.

Be a Good Neighbor:

Please do not park your "FOR SALE" vehicles in the church lot.

Parking for Mass and Parish Events
Please do not park in the Beulah Methodist parking lot as a courtesy to our Emergency Shelter  neighboring church. Also the area next to the Newspaper Collection Bin does not have parking spaces. Please do not park along that side as it is too close to the legitimate parked vehicles for anyone to drive through that lane. Thank you very much for complying with this request.

ForYourVocation.org
Vocation videos of our own priests, including Fr. Mike, can be found at www.youtube.com & www.facebook.com. The Vocations site is www.ForYourVocation.org.  A Spanish language site will be available this fall at www.PorTuVocacion.org.  Site elements include discernment resources for men and women, respectively, aids for promoting a vocation culture within the home, and a range of tools for educators, youth leaders and vocation directors including prayers, videos, best practices, lesson plans and vocation awareness programs.

St. Augustine's Prayer
God of our life, there are days when the burdens we carry chafe our shoulders and weigh us down; when the road seems dreary and endless, the skies gray and threatening; when our lives have no music in them, and our hearts are lonely, and our souls have lost their courage.  Flood the path with light, turn our eyes to where the skies are full of promise; turn our hearts to brave music; give us the sense of comradeship with heroes and saints of every age; and so quicken our spirits that we may be able to encourage the souls of all who journey with us on the road of life to your honor and glory.
