everyone to be a part of it. We need coordinators and volunteers for

is needed to make this festival a great event. Please contact Wanda at
804-275-7962 to volunteer and obtain more information.

We will be crowning the Queen and Princess of the Festival. We hope
to see you there.     See the schedule.

 Children's Liturgy?

Call the church office.

“We are considering changing our policy in regard to the use of the facilities in the evening. We would like to have the premises more secure for the safety of those using the facilities. One of our options is to have a volunteer on the
premises from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. If anyone is interested in volunteering to do this on a rotating basis please contact
Deacon Bob in the office or send him an email at:”

The church picnic is right around the corner on June 5.  There is a need for volunteers to help make it a success!  Would you consider helping out?  There are a lot of areas to choose from:

Parking assistance on Sunday
Mass set up on Sunday morning
Ticket collection/Info table
Beer tent
Food tent
Food prep on Sunday morning
Game set up on Sunday morning

Volunteers are needed for the Festival.  This year it will be held on August 11-14.  Please let Desiri Walker know if you are interested in helping.  Call the office.

Volunteers are needed for a parish advisory committee.  Call Deacon Eric for more information.

Would you like to participate:

  • as a Liturgical minister and assist with our weekly liturgy?
  • as an Altar server?
  • in the Ministry for the homebound?

For more information about training contact Deacon Al Hallatt.

Altar Servers of all ages:  Parent and children altar serving is a wonderful way to celebrate the liturgy. Youth must have received their First Communion. Please consider this ministry as a family. Training will be announced to accommodate the family.

Please use the pastoral/prayer cards to communicate to staff requests for prayer lists and other details for pastoral care. The cards may be obtained in the Parish Information Center and in the Hospitality/Ushers' Room.

Remember the members of our parish who are not well - Send a card to someone you know and perhaps to someone you don't know.

Check out the "In the Neighborhood" page for events happening in our neighborhood.

Be a Good Neighbor:

Please do not park your "FOR SALE" vehicles in the church lot.

Parking for Mass and Parish Events
Please do not park in the Beulah Methodist parking lot as a courtesy to our Emergency Shelter  neighboring church. Also the area next to the Newspaper Collection Bin does not have parking spaces. Please do not park along that side as it is too close to the legitimate parked vehicles for anyone to drive through that lane. Thank you very much for complying with this request.

St. Augustine's Prayer
God of our life, there are days when the burdens we carry chafe our shoulders and weigh us down; when the road seems dreary and endless, the skies gray and threatening; when our lives have no music in them, and our hearts are lonely, and our souls have lost their courage.  Flood the path with light, turn our eyes to where the skies are full of promise; turn our hearts to brave music; give us the sense of comradeship with heroes and saints of every age; and so quicken our spirits that we may be able to encourage the souls of all who journey with us on the road of life to your honor and glory.
