Reminder
During Mass, in the sanctuary for prayer, worship, rehearsals, etc., please maintain a reverent attitude, posture, and tone at all times. Make sure all cell phones and pagers are turned on silent or vibrate mode before Mass begins. No gum is allowed in the sanctuary at any time, and no food or drink should be consumed in the sanctuary, except by infants.

Blessing of the Animals
Despite the cool weather and damp ground, there was a good turnout for the Animal Blessing that took place on Saturday, 10/18/08. Many of Mack's canine friends came, and some of his feline friends visited as well, along with at least two turtles. After the ceremony, the animals and their proud "companion humans" posed for a group portrait, courtesy of the Cruz family.

Crime Solvers Introduces "Text-A-Tip"
The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program announces the introduction of Text-A-Tip that will allow cell phone users to text their anonymous tips. The program is a TipSoft Short Message Service application created by Anderson Software. To text a tip: 1) text the code tip699 and then add the crime tip; 2) send the tip to 274637 (crimes); 3) tipsters will receive a confirmation text message.
