"Qui Bene Cantat, Bis Orat" ("Who sings, prays twice" ---St Augustine)

The Hail Mary Song was written by Bob Hurd; Sung by Bob Hurd and Others.

St Augustine's has a wonderful group of people in the adult choir. We vary in age from 16 to older.   We rehearse on Wednesday evenings in the church from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, from September to June.   We receive a schedule in advance to let us know which Mass we will be singing at each week.   We sing, we pray, we love, we have fun, and we sometimes even cry with each other.   We are a close family within our parish family, and we would love for you to be a part of us.   Reading music is NOT a requirement, in fact half of our choir members do not read music.   We will even teach you to sing in a second language (Spanish), as we also sing at the bilingual services.  Please prayerfully consider joining us in this our ministry to our Lord.  If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Musselman, our choir director. She can be reached at 790-1469.

Kathy's Notes

Hi everyone,

I would love to take this opportunity to invite anyone who is interested, to join the choir.  We have resumed our weekly practice schedule each Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the church.  We have a few new faces this year.  We are very proud to welcome Chris Kotula and Molly Brush to our group.

I look forward to singing and praying with each of you, and I hope to see more new faces to join our special family of choir members.

Thought for the day - Psalm 40 - "Here I am, Lord, here I am. I come to do your will."
